No messages here, just a battle of infuriated sexes as Sim, headmaster of a boys’ school, learns that thanks to Civil Service ineptitude (could that be Richard Wattis?!) his sanctuary is to be invaded by a London girls’ school. It’s wartime, the Blitz is on, and headmistress Rutherford marches her girls into the fortress like an invading regiment.
