A Club Through Time’, with Dr Ian Cubbin

Chairman of the Library Sub-Committee, Dr Ian Cubbin, will be guiding the audience as they embark on the journey of ‘A Club Through Time’. From the Athenaeum’s inception in 1797 to present day, via a change in premises, the characters that have shaped the Athenaeum and the city beyond, and perhaps a murder trial for good measure?

A number of newer Proprietors, and even some long standing ones know very little of our origins and history, this will be a great opportunity to learn more in a pleasant and conducive environment surrounded by fellow members and guests.

This ever popular Black Tie dinner is likely to sell out early, it is recommended to book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Tickets include dinner, reception drink and a donation to the Library Fund.
