Light Night

A rare chance to step inside this hidden gem, containing 60,000 unique volumes including medieval manuscripts and early printed books alongside maps, pictures and artefacts reflecting Liverpool’s rich heritage.

Tours are scheduled every half hour beginning at 7:00pm, last tour scheduled for 9:00pm.

Tickets can be bought at the Athenaeum, by phone (0151 709 7770), or reserved by email ( reception@theathenaeum.org.uk ). Tickets cost £5.00 per person and payment must be made in advance.

This tour is suitable for 14 years and over.
