STRANGERS ON A TRAIN (USA 1951)
Dir. by Alfred Hitchcock
On a train journey a tennis champion (Farley Granger) meets a homicidal obsessive man (Robert Walker) who suggests that he should murder the champion’s tiresome wife in return for the murder of his own hated father. The champion tries to back out of the deal, but too late; the obsessive man murders the wife, and now insists on the champion keeping his side of the bargain. One of Hitchcock’s most electrifying films.
