“Understanding Tomorrow’s World”
This presentation by Drs Alex. McMinn MBE (Past President), Jack Brettle and Neil Stephenson will introduce a non-scientific audience to a wide range of scientific developments that are affecting our lives – robots and artificial intelligence (particularly robots that help sustain independent living), computer controlled (autonomous) vehicles, 3D printers, Gene Mapping (leading to personalised medicine), stem cell therapy and the all-consuming Internet and the Internet of Things.
5:00 for 5:30pm in the Library.
