Plans for our joint exhibition with the Liverpool Medical Institution and the Victoria Gallery and Museum on the subject of the part played by private libraries in the expansion of Liverpool 1780 – 1837 are well in hand. The list of exhibits is almost prepared and we are looking at what if any conservation will be required and the best methods of display. Advance discussions aimed at getting commercial sponsorship are in hand but we are still open to offers of donations towards expenses.
