The Myth & Magic of Venice

Athenaeum Proprietors enjoyed an Italian evening on 14th November. The Dining Room was themed in an Italian style and our chef, Russell Hough, produced an excellent Italian menu. Dinner was followed by an illustrated talk on the Venice Carnevale by Brian Anderson of Anderson Images. Brian’s lively and informative presentation included many of his wonderful photographs of the carnival costumes worn by both Venetians and vistors during the Carnevale held each year before the start of Lent.venice1
