DESCRIPTION:Bring Your Own Poem ! \nFollowing the success of November’s Bring Your Own session on war poetry\, we are having another meeting to which people are encouraged to bring their own favorite poems (or short pieces of prose). I am proposing that the subject this time should be memories – so either a piece about memories or one that brings back a special memory for you. The format is that those who have brought poems etc. with them will read them and briefly explain their choice (perhaps stimulating some discussion). Of course\, if you don’t want to read\, someone else can read for you and if you don’t want to bring a poem you’re more than welcome to sit and listen.
