DESCRIPTION:Join us on Tuesday 26th July 2022 for the second of two wine tasting evenings to showcase wines from the Club’s new wine list. \nRoger Barlow of our Wine Merchants\, Gerrard Seel\, will host a swift tasting at 7:00pm in the Newsroom giving an overview of the three wines which will accompany each course with Dinner which will be served in the Dining Room at 7:30pm. \nThe wines being showcased this evening are:- \nMacon Peronne – Domaine du Bicheron\, France – 14% – Served with starter\nRioja Crianza – Vina del Oja\, Spain (14.5%) – Served with Main\nCôtes de Gascogne Rosé – Domaine Horgelus\, France  (11.5%) – Served with Dessert \n  \nStarters: \nSalt Cod and Ventreche Ham Croquette\, Butter Poached Mussels \nGoats Cheese Panna Cotta\, Pickled Beets\, Hazelnut Crumb (v) \nMain Course: \nPimento Slow Roasted Old Spot Pork Ribs\, Lomo Chorizo and Morcilla\, Green Beans with Pine Nuts and Lemon Thyme\, Bravas Potatoes \nPeppered Aubergine steak\, Cavolo Nero\, Feta Brandard\, Roasted Red Chilli\, Black Garlic Purée (v) \nDessert:  \nSummer Fruits \n  \n  \nThe first of these two tastings showcasing wines from the wine list took place Wednesday 6th July 2022**. \n  \n*Original scheduled for 21st June though postponed due to rail strike.
