DESCRIPTION:The Athenaeum\, a historic and emblematic city centre venue\, and ArtsGroupie CIC\, a prominent Liverpool arts organisation\, have teamed up to provide monthly walking tours and events starting Summer 2022. \n  \nJoin us at the Liverpool Pier Head\, outside the Cunard Building (the River Mersey side)\, 10.30am 30th July\, as we explore Liverpool’s historic links to America. \nFrom the city’s darkest history\, like its abominable role in the transatlantic slave trade\, to its illustrious music & culture exports; Liverpool’s connections to the United States run deep. \nThe two-hour tour ends with a three-course lunch at the Athenaeum. \n
