DESCRIPTION:Athenaeum Debates \nIn conjunction with the School’s Parliament the  Athenaeum will be hosting another series of  non-competitive debates for older students across Merseyside. The first will take place on 18th  November at 10:00am in the Library. The subjects will be announced later but as a   usual they will be current  important issues. \nThese debates are a significant step in our  attempts to raise the profile of the             Athenaeum and to ensure that it makes an  important contribution to the life of the city. All Proprietors are encouraged to attend and to take part in the debates. We have the full support of the Lord Mayor\, Councilor Erica Kemp and for this next debate we will have the High    Sheriff\, Mrs. Abila Pointing attending which can be seen as a measure of the attention the these debates are attracting. \n  \n
