‘James Dickson Innes : ‘Beauty Most wild’, a talk by Professor Rhiannon Evans MBE

J D Innes was a Welsh painter (1887-1914) and a close friend of Augustus John. In his short life he painted landscapes in Wales and France of extra-ordinary power and originality.
Bio
Professor Emeritus Rhiannon Evans MBE is former Pro-Vice Chancellor at Edge Hill University in Lancashire. Her three retirement projects ( all completed) were transcribing and publishing her mother’s war journals, walking around the coast of Wales and setting up an annual prize for young poets.
