One of the most famous of all the American film noirs. A decent insurance agent (Fred Macmurray) is inveigled by a ‘femme fatal’ (Barbara Swanwick) into murdering her husband. It is the perfect murder, except that a shrewd collegue (Edward G. Robinson) has doubts about the whole affair.
