Athenaeum Film Nights: Hue and Cry, 1947

As the nights begin the darken we commence the next series of Athenaeum film nights, showing a classic film each month between October and April.
Guests gather from 6:30pm ahead of a one course supper in the Newsroom at 7:00pm. The screening will begin at 8:00pm in the Wine Servery with sweets served at the interval.
This month’s showing is: Hue and Cry, 1947
A comedy-thriller about a gang of young boys who discover & try to foil a series of robberies, when the police refuse to take their concerns seriously. A tongue-in-cheek Ealing comedy featuring Harry Fowler and Alastair Sim.
