In the optic of only the last two millennia but with particular attention on the last 77 years

Paul draws on a rich array of references – history, economics, war, culture, technology and climate change; they’re all there –
to wonder with humour as well as candour ‘Can we approach the next 30 years with optimism?’

The Speaker will invite questions, comments and contributions from the floor to make it a truly interactive and animated evening
