On Friday 16 May the Athenaeum Library will again be joining the many other, libraries, galleries and museums throughout the country who open their door to the public in ‘Light Night’ The library will be open from 7 pm until 9.30 with guided tours of the treasures and also, in keeping with the years theme an small exhibition of material on the First World War. It is essential to book for one or other of the tours which will be every half hour from the opening time, that is 7pm 7.30, 8, 8.30. 9 and 9.30.
Tickets at £5 and booking can be obtained at the Reception desk in the foyer from 11 May. This tour is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Drinks and light refreshments will be available.
