Jutta Hesketh NDD ceramics, Oxford School of Arts, will be talking about Diego de Velasquez, Court Painter to Philip IV of Spain in the C17th. The presentation will concentrate on Velasquez's clear and undistorted depiction of court life in his painting 'Las Meninas' and its influence on C20th artist Pablo Picasso.
